When the National Eucharistic Congress meets next month in Indianapolis, organizers have efforts to avoid secular politics, but there is one ecclesiastical-political dynamic it can’t avoid: the TLM. Many devout Catholics in attendance will hope to participate in a Latin Mass, and they’ll likely be accommodated. But what happens if, as rumored, the Vatican updates Traditionis custodes before the Congress begins with additional restrictions on the TLM?
